Website design in Kenya that earns its cost

Custom websites built to bring in enquiries — designed mobile-first and structured for SEO, AEO and GEO from day one. For businesses in Nairobi, Machakos, Kajiado, Kiambu and across Kenya.

What you get

Every website includes

Not a list of features for their own sake — each of these is something that decides whether the site brings in enquiries or just exists.

  • Custom design around your brand
  • Mobile-first build
  • SEO, AEO & GEO ready structure
  • Clear enquiry and WhatsApp paths
  • Google Search Console setup
  • Launch support

Larger builds — an e-commerce store with a full catalogue, or a hotel with a booking system — are quoted individually, because the work genuinely is bigger. You get that number in writing before anything starts.

Choose your type

What kind of website do you need?

The right structure depends on how your business actually makes money. Here's how each type is put together.

These are example layouts created by VEE Agency to show how each type of website is structured. They are illustrations, not screenshots of client websites. Your site is designed around your own brand, content and goals — tell us which one fits and we'll quote for yours.

Scope and pricing

One website service, shaped around what it needs to do

Website creation starts at KES 30,000. The starting price is for a complete professional website; the work above that depends on the functions your business needs.

Pages are only part of the scope

A portfolio or business website can focus on explaining your offer, showing your work and giving visitors a clear way to enquire. An online store also needs its product catalogue, cart and checkout. A booking or hospitality site may need availability and reservation features.

Those larger e-commerce and booking requirements are quoted individually above the starting price. Before work begins, you receive the agreed scope and price in writing, so you know what the project includes.

Built in from the start

Search-ready, not search-retrofitted

Search structure is easier to plan during a build than retrofit later. We build in clear headings, metadata and local context from the start.

SEO — traditional search

A clear page hierarchy, descriptive headings, page titles and metadata help search engines understand what each page covers. Local service details make the areas served clear. Indexing and rankings still depend on factors beyond the build.

AEO — answer engines

Useful answers, question-based headings and visible FAQs make important details easier to find. Structured data is added only when it accurately describes content visitors can see. This can clarify a page, but does not guarantee a featured snippet or voice result.

GEO — AI search

Consistent business details, clear service descriptions and useful location information give AI systems context to interpret. There is no reliable way to guarantee that an assistant will cite or recommend a business.

The process

How your website gets built

  1. Understand

We start with how your business works, who you need to reach and what a customer should be able to do online. That gives us the basis for the pages and functions the site needs.

  2. Structure

We plan the page structure, content and search foundations before design. That includes the information customers need, the paths to enquire or book, and the local context that helps explain where you work.

  3. Build

VEE prepares the content and materials, then designs and builds the site mobile-first. You review it with us, confirm the business details and request agreed refinements before launch.

  4. Launch & support

A website build is planned for about two weeks; the final schedule depends on scope. After launch, support is complimentary for three months. Ongoing Website Management starts at KES 5,000 per month.

Scope before design

Build around what your customers need to do

A page count alone does not explain the work. The important question is what the website needs to help a visitor understand and complete.

A portfolio may need a clear way to review work and enquire. A service business may need service details, coverage and a direct contact path. A shop needs product information and a buying flow, while a booking site may need availability and reservation features. We choose the structure around the actual customer journey, not a generic template.

That distinction matters because an online catalogue, checkout or booking system adds work beyond presenting information. We clarify those requirements before design so you can see what is included and where the scope changes.

Content and review

VEE prepares the website content

You do not need to arrive with finished website copy. VEE prepares the content and materials after learning about your business, services, customers and goals. We review the important details with you so the published site describes your real offer.

If you have verified results, approved testimonials or real project examples, those can be included. We do not invent client names, results or proof to fill a page.

Common questions

Website design questions

How much does website design cost in Kenya?

Website creation starts at KES 30,000. More complex e-commerce and booking requirements are scoped and quoted individually before work begins.

How long does it take to build a website?

Most website projects take about two weeks. We confirm the schedule once we agree the scope; more complex e-commerce or booking requirements may change the timeline.

What platform do you build websites on?

We build on Django rather than locking you into a proprietary website-builder subscription. Domain registration, hosting, business email, paid services or external integrations can carry separate third-party charges; we clarify what your project needs in its written scope.

Do I need to provide content for my website?

No. VEE prepares the website content and materials. We will ask for the business details needed to represent your services accurately.

Can you redesign my existing website?

Yes. If your current site is not performing — loading slowly, not appearing in search, or not converting visitors — we can rebuild it from the ground up on a modern, search-ready foundation.

What happens after my website launches?

Website support is complimentary for the first three months after launch. For ongoing content updates, maintenance and monitoring after that, Website Management starts at KES 5,000 per month.
